Submit Candidate Agreement
Opens April 15 at 8a, Due April 22 at 11:59p
Agree to follow the rules and regulations of the USG Elections Guide and allow us to confirm your GPA and University Standing which may impact eligibility.
Pass Election Information Test/Video
Opens April 15 at 8a, Due April 22 at 11:59p
This video with embedded questions will explain everything you need to know about the USG election while also certifying that you are aware of all of the rules and regulations you are being held accountable for.
Attend Election Info Chats (Optional)
April 14 from 4-5:30 & April 20 from 10a-12p
Join us in the Student Engagement Suite on the third floor of the Community Commons to ask questions and get advice about running for USG!

Submit a Candidate Petition
Opens April 22 at 8a, Due April 28 at 11:59p
Senator candidates need to submit a petition with 25 signatures from registered undergraduate students. Presidential/Vice-Presidential tickets need a combined 100 signatures on their petition.

Submit Candidate Profile Information
Opens April 22 at 8a, Due April 28 at 11:59p
Please submit a candidate platform that explains why you are a good fit for the position you are running for and any plans you have for the future of our student body. This platform will be shared by USG and linked on the ballot to provide voters a little bit of information about you. You may consider adding a social media handle, external website, or other things relevant to your campaign. All submissions must align with the rules outlined in the USG Elections Guide and may be no longer than 500 words.
Attend the Debate & Mixer
May 3, 11a-1:30p Location TBD
Join us for the second annual presidential and vice presidential debate before we break for a more casual candidate mixer with light refreshments and ALL of the senate candidates!
Voting!
Open May 6 at 8a, Closes May 12 at 11:59p
Vote Vote Vote! And encourage your friend's to vote too! Ensure that you are following the rules in the USG Election Guide when encouraging people to vote!
Accept or Refute Results
Opens May 13, Closes May 14 at Noon!
Once you are notified of the USG Election results you will have 24 hours to accept or refute the results of the election.
New Member Transition Begins
May 14 at 6p
This will be the first Senate meeting for all new USG members where they will be shadowing the person previously in their position. New members will be sworn in on May 21.
